WORKSPACE is an annual project competition for talented filmmakers and artists working with film, new (interactive) media, video installations, performance and visuals. Each year our studio made a different campaign to promote the call for submissions, designing a series of posters and flyers, as well as a website and online banners.
Poster and flyer campaign, website, handout, moving image, teaser.

Process
I chose an analogue approach to create this image series. I took photos of LED Tube Lights and reworked the images into abstract shapes, playing with the concept of "Shadow Asks for Light". For a couple of posters we tried using silkscreen with glow in the dark ink to enhance the effect, but it didn't work out entirely the way we’d hoped. Nonetheless the experiment itself was worth trying.

De Visionair
The Visionary was one of the winning projects of the Workspace competition. For this project I made a handout using black on black printing, laser cutouts and a teaser video. The installation 'The Visionary' is based on the fact that blind and visually impaired people miss the visual element in their experience of a room or when watching a film. By using special glasses visitors of the installation step into the shoes of a person who is visually impaired and experience a film by sound, light and wind machines.
This project was done as part of my work at Studio Duel.
